Many players prefer the fit and feel of a girdle for ice hockey play.
Problem is that most girdles are not designed for full contact hockey.

A girdle has several advantages over normal ice hockey pants.
First and foremost is fit. Instead of the pads hanging loosely around you body, they fit ''on'' your body. This positions the pads in the perfect spot for protection - no matter what angle the impact comes in from.
The second advantage is freedom of movement. The lycra construction increases range and motion on the rink.
The third advantage is that you can change colors of your pants as simply as replacing the outer shell.
The fourth advantage is that this girdle is equally at home for roller hockey as it is on the ice.
