Easton has given these pads six air vent holes in the front shell. These holes also carry through to corresponding holes in the liner. This allows air to flow into the pad circulating the air and keeping the pad cooler, resulting in a more comfortable pad.

The rest of the pad offers a traditional design. The knee cap is wider allowing for the knee to sit deeper in the pad offering more protection to the outside of the knee. Easton has also given a single density foam calf protector that offers protection to the back of the calf against stray shots or slashes.

* Protection:

   - Traditional Plastic shell design

   - Wider kneecap provides great lateral support while allowing the knee to sit deeper into the pad providing additional protection

   - Ribbed shin design to prevent direct impacts

   - The liner does not rest up against the shell all owing for more energy to be absorbed by the shell before reaching the leg

   - Single density calf wrap

* Liner:

   - Removable liner - Allows for better drying time

   - Liner starts wider in the knee area then narrows to about 2" down the shin to allow air flow

* Fit:

   - Six vents in the shell and liner allow for air circulation keep the pad cooler and a more comfortable fit

   - Two 1" elastic straps across the calf

   - Tapeline just below the knee for a more efficient fit for players that use tape

* Level of Play: Ideal for intermediate level of play
