Easton has used dense plastic inserts in both the slash guard and bicep guard to offer a high level of protection. The S13 elbow pad offers a good size elbow and forearm guard that is constructed out of dense molded plastic. Easton has also used an EVA bumper on the outer part of the shell. This helps increase protection to yourself and to others on the rink.

The Stealth S13 elbow pad also features the Bio-Dri liner that effectively wicks moisture away from your arm, to offer a drier better fitting pad. Easton has also used their X-strapping system that utilizes three straps on the forearm and one strap on the bicep to ensure the pad stays in place.
