Bauer has taken the fit and look of the fan favorite 5500 helmet and put some nice new touches on it. So for those players that liked the fit of the 5500 helmet, they will be happy to find the same fit in the 7500 helmet. Bauer has increase the air vents to keep your mellon a little cooler. The 7500 also features a new tool free adjustment feature. It is the same concept but slightly different look and a little easier adjustment.

On the inside Bauer has introduced EPP 1/2 liner system. Which looks and feels very similar to standard EPP foam but offers a little bit better protection. The 7500 helmet also features PORON® foam in two key impact areas for increased protection. This material is extremely light, breathable, flexible, and offers unmatched energy absorption. For comfort Bauer has used slow memory comfort foam to relieve any pressure points. Where the PORON® foam is used it features a triple density protection.

This particular version of the 7500 helmet comes with the 7500 cage. The 7500 cage offers great vision with the thin wire design and true vision color. The 7500 cage is not as oval shaped as some of the other Bauer cages, and resembles some of the older Itech cages in its shape.
