Easton´s idea with the S3 is to provide protection that is geared to the level of play found in the age group 6 and under.
Since the little guys aren\'t throwing huge checks or launching laser slap shots, overkill protection just slows them down and makes it harder to play an already difficult game.
The S1 has nice chest protection that fits well and extended belly protection with advanced closure system.
The caps are big enough to protect but small enough to allow excellent freedom of movement.
The hole for the head is large enough to go on easily, but fits well enough to not slip around near the collarbone area.
The Velcro that travels completely across the chest area of the pad allows you to get the perfect tension on the straps whether your child is skinny or husky.
