The Synergy SE16 is a great fitting, comfortable lightweight skate. It provides pro level performance in one of the lightest skates on the market which means quicker acceleration, faster top end speed, and increased mobility.
The skate has a little more generous, traditional fit then the Stealth skates. The SE16 is a very well balanced skate between stiffness and comfort and provides pro level performance.
The Easton one piece design is tested and true proving that it is a leader on the ice. The boot design translates into more energy at the end of the game when it may be on the line, and every drop of energy can mean the difference between winning and loosing. The one piece design also provides pro level support and stiffness, which allows for increased stability, protection, and responsiveness. This makes the skate react to your inputs to help you make quick cuts leaving the defender looking for his jock strap.
Comfort foams provide a custom fit molding the skate to your ankle to make it one, the skate responds to your movement and there is no slop in the boot for delayed reaction time. The eyelet design of the Synergy SE16 is more traditional shape for a more neutral stance. The Bio-Dry removable heel lift is great if you want a little extra forward lean. Even though the SE16 gives up a little weight to the S15, the price difference more than makes up for it, the SE16 makes for a great substitute if you are looking for pro level performance.
