The NSX boasts thick foams and plastic inserts in key impact areas, such as the bicep and forearm, for strategic coverage.
Bauer used their unique split elbow cap and independent bicep designs to provide mobility typically reserved for more expensive pads. Both of these features not only help promote better range of motion but they prevent gaps in protection by keeping the pads in place during dynamic movements.
Internally, the Bauer NSX utilizes thick medium density foams for comfort and impact absorption. It is then topped with hydrophobic mesh that is very soft to the touch and does a good job of wicking away moisture too.
